NPSN Mentor Application

Thank you for your interest in NSPN’s Mentorship Program. We are so excited to have you here! We hope that the Mentorship Program will serve as a bridge to support you empowering your mentee’s current and future endeavors in science policy. Ultimately, we hope that the community of Mentorship Program members, including your carefully matched mentee will provide you with a sense of belonging, fulfillment and fun. Please carefully review the program details, goals, and expectations before submitting your application. We have outlined these below and look forward to learning more about you (such as your career/education experiences, identity, mentor goals, etc). Program Overview

Our Mentorship Program is the first science policy specific mentorship program that meets mentees where they are at, helps them identify their goals, and empowers them in those goals through strong relationships that are grounded in a community of support and understanding. Mentees and their mentors will be carefully matched based on a multiplicity of factors beyond basic career interests to facilitate this connection and sense of belonging to cultivate self-efficacy for mentees. To facilitate relationship development and personal and professional growth for mentees and mentors alike, our program curriculum will cover a range of areas between the November and June. Applications for the program are due at 11:59pm ET on Sunday, October 30.
