The science community’s had its share of challenges this year, but we don’t quit. We adapt, we collaborate, and we keep going. NSPN is all about helping the next generation of science policy leaders step up and make sure science has a seat at the table. This year you can be part of that mission! Create a Facebook Fundraiser for NSPN, as part of our Giving Tuesday campaign, and help us keep building a future where good science drives smart decisions.

Here’s how to start!

1. Set up your fundraiser today (click here)

2. Set Your Goal. Choose a goal of at least $1,300. Don’t worry about reaching your goal! Every contribution counts toward our collective success.

3. Set Your Date. Select an end date that’s 2-3 weeks from your start date so you have time to fundraise.

4. Invite every Facebook friend. You will be tempted to skip this step because its time consuming or because you don’t want to bother people. Please don’t skip it. It’s a vital step to all the other steps and is based on data!

5. Post Daily. Share your story, progress, or inspiration and ask for donations in each post. Consistency helps keep your fundraiser visible.

6. Thank Your Donors. Thank every donor when they donate! Each supporter will receive a tax receipt automatically from Facebook.
