The Science Policy Writing Skills training provides STEM students and professionals essential skills needed to write effectively for policymakers and the public. This course focuses on crafting impactful, non-academic writing for public and policy engagement. Participants will learn to draft compelling policy briefs, position papers, and op-eds, honing their writing skills while building a portfolio tailored to connect with policymakers and broader audiences.

  • Dates: February 18 and 19, 2026

  • Pacific Time: 9 am - 11 am

  • Eastern Time: 12 pm - 2 pm
